In Canada, our Fixed Income Trading group is comprised of the Canadian Liability Management (CLM) group and our Credit Trading desk. Together, we provide Canadian institutional clients with credit trading management through access to secondary government and corporate bonds as well as credit derivatives.
The Canadian Liability Management (CLM) group gives institutional clients trading opportunities for various fixed income products in the secondary market including:
- Government of Canada Bonds
- Provincial Bonds
- Municipal Bonds
- Crown Corporation Bonds
- Strip Bonds
- Futures and Options
Acting as agent only, our Execution team provides support for client execution, ensures quality of fills and supervises exchange-reporting requirements. We accept a wide range of instruments and currency types for initial margin and cash for variation margin
Our Credit Trading desk makes markets in Canadian dollar debt of domestic corporations. In addition to supplying pricing and liquidity for institutional investors, our Credit Trading professionals are able to assess and manage credit risk through the structuring and distribution of credit derivatives.
