CIBC supports a wide variety of national, regional and local organizations with a strategic focus on youth, education and health. We have a diverse and proactive community relations program that makes a real difference in the communities in which we do business. Through the dedicated commitment of employees throughout the organization, we support a wide variety of projects around the world and invest in the health, education and well-being of the next generation.

CIBC Miracle Day

On the first Wednesday of December each year our wholesale banking sales and trading staff, as well as employees at CIBC Wood Gundy, donate their commissions generated that day to support children's charities in our communities.

Every year on Miracle Day, our employees turn their thoughts and actions into support for children in communities across Canada. By donating the fees and commissions raised on Miracle Day, our employees and clients are making an investment in the future health, education and well-being of children in need all over the world.

2010 marked the 26th anniversary of CIBC Miracle Day. With the commitment and enthusiasm of our clients and employees, Miracle Day raised a record $4.1 million to benefit children's charities across Canada.

Since its inception in 1984, CIBC Miracle Day has raised nearly $60 million in Canada to benefit children in communities around the country.

This year's CIBC Miracle Day will take place on Wednesday, December 7, 2011.
